 I S The spedometer in your car displays a speed that is 5 kph too high.
I R To win a $200 shopping spree, a local strore required guessing the number of jelly beans in a clear sealed glass jar. Out of the 75 guesses made, only two were correct.
 P You're holding a plumb bob and trying to keep it centered over a 1/2-inch iron rod marking a property corner.
I R Your chances of hitting the jackpot on a slot machine (assume it's not rigged so the house wins).
I S The tape you used to measure setbacks from your property lines is missing the first foot.
P S A car blocks your line of sight through an instrument. But you can see your target through the car's widshield so you go ahead and take your reading.
N R You're surveying with a GPS unit mounted atop a 2 meter pole. There are variable gusts up to 30 mph with nothing to block the wind.
 P S  You are pacing a distance up and down a very steep hill. You notice your pace count is greater going downhill than upill.
